Trust and Communication

"Trust is the most important part of a relationship, closely followed by communication. I think that if you have those two things, everything else falls into place..."
-Vanessa Lachey

I know it means a couple of late nights, but getting the opportunity to observe parent-teacher conferences rather than be an active participant has convinced me more than ever that it is time well spent. Our students parents place an incredible amount of trust in us to do the absolute best we can for their children.

It is our job to maintain that trust, and the best way for us to do that is through communication. By picking up the phone to call a parent when their is an issue or sending an email when something awesome happens, we are sending the message to them that their child matters to us, that in the chaos of our busy day, our communication to them is a priority. When we sit down with them face-to-face to laugh, cry, and care about their child right along with them, it reinforces that trust we have built.

Thank you for your willingness to stay late and really connect with the families of our students. It is critical to our success.
